Policy Dialogue : Revitalising EU-Moldova relations

| Le

CMI–Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation and the European Policy Centre are pleased to invite you to this hybrid Policy Dialogue.

The snap parliamentary elections in Moldova on 11 July gave the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) of President Maia Sandu an outright parliamentary majority. With a pro-European majority in the Parliament, a pro-EU Government and a pro-Western President, Moldova has an extraordinary chance to reboot its partnership with the European Union (EU). The new leadership in Chisinau has already announced their desire to further strengthen political and economic integration with the EU and speed up the implementation of the Association Agreement and Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area.

At this Policy Dialogue, the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of Moldova will present the state of current EU-Moldovan relations following the EU-Moldova Association meeting on the same day, their priorities for the coming months ahead of the Eastern Partnership Summit, and their expectations with regard to the EU.
